His favorite place to hang out is the bathroom. We try to keep the door closed (for safety reasons, of course) but sometimes he makes it in there to throw a shoe in the toilet, unroll the TP, or brush his teeth.

This is Casen's THIRD goose egg on his forehead. I am SO not used to how rough and tumble boys are. This particular one came from him running though the kitchen and hitting his head on the tile.

Seriously, how have we survived so long without a sand box? The kiddos play in it for at least an hour a day... it's been great enjoying some time to piddle on my phone while they play!

Case Case

Case has been so fun lately!
He has definitely started to interact with us more and understand more. He climbs on everything. We have temporary taken down the antique highchair and usually have to flip the kitchen chairs over on the floor. Last week he crawled up on the kitchen table and then fell off. He can follow commands now like "throw this away" and "put that back." He LOVES his daddy and is attached to him at the hip when he comes home. He has to double fist his food and expects something in each hand when you give him a little snack. After I change his diaper he must turn off the light in his room for me or he throws a fit. Speaking of fits, he is getting good at them.

Olivia Kate!

My newest niece was born 2 weeks ago. I am crazy in love with her and thankfully have gotten to spend a lot of cuddle time with her.


... and just for fun everytime I see her little feet it reminds me SO much of Kayleigh.Both of my kids have had these long skinny feet and Olivia's look JUST like them!

THAT outfit

Kayleigh has an obsession with this outfit. The top she got for Christmas from my grandma, the bottoms are some sweat pants that happen to match the top. She wants to wear them every single time we walk in the house from being somewhere. Sometimes she sneaks them out of the laundry hamper, sometimes (if they are clean enough) I let her sleep in them, sometimes she wear them on our outings. I have had to use more oxiclean on this piece of clothing than any other that we own.

Picky Eater

Case has been somewhat of a picky eater. I will make him a plate full of yummy food and he seems to only want to eat deli meat, cheese, bananas, blueberry waffles, Kashi cereal bars, and blueberries. Anything not on the list goes over the side of his high chair and to the dog.

The Best of Friends

I love watching these 2 play. They have really started being so sweet to each other. Sure they have their screaming, hitting, pushing each other out of the Cozy Coupe moments... but they truly are so sweet. They have started playing together in Kayleigh's room for literally like an hour happily. Kayleigh always wants to get Casen up when she waked up from her name because she wants to play. They share food with each other and SOME toys. I think watching them interact has been my favorite part of being a mom so far.

Kayleigh is getting to be more like a little girl every day. She knows all of her numbers (thanks to Daddy) and her letters. She has even started to write a few letters on her own. She is very into pretending to go to Chick-fila, HEB, playing school, running errands, going dancing. Her babies go everywhere with us and she is very occupied with taking care of them. She is very maternal to all of her friends and their siblings, she feels the need to take care of everyone. Her favorite thing to do is go spend the night with her grandparents and pretty much asks daily if she can go to their house "just for a minute."

Case is really getting to a fun and exhausting age. He goes ninety-to-nothing from the time he wakes up to the time he goes to bed. He has started to say a few words like banana, thank you, bye bye, da da. He loves to go outside and slide and sit in his swing. He is a Momma and Da Da's boy and wants to be carried around all the time. Even though we try to feed him a balanced diet, he mostly just wants to eat deli meat and fruit... most other food items get thrown on the ground. He still MUST have his "chewy" when he sleeps. He loves to follow his sister around everywhere and play with her toys. Just this week he has been really into cars and drives them around on the ground.
