2 Months Old

My littlest is already 2 months old today! We don't go to the doctor until Tuesday, so you will have to wait on his stats. Right now he is holding his head up pretty well. He usually sleeps from about 10 until 5 or 6 AM, which has been VERY nice. He still loves his pacifier, swing, and sister. He babbles (sometimes loudly) and makes the cutest little flirty smiles. We still swaddle him because he loves it and he will probably be in our room at night for a couple more months. We love him DEARLY and are so very, very thankful for him.

Casen's First Tea Party

I think he thoroughly enjoyed it, do you?

Buddies

Price and Kayleigh play so well together, I love to watch them interact. Here they are doodling on Kayleigh's chalkboard table, so sweet. She loves him even though he still doesn't like it when she tries to give him a hug. I am so glad that they like each other.... for now.

Three in the Bed....

Three in the bed and the little one said... YOU GUYS ARE KEEPING ME AWAKE!

"Like Mommy Have!"

Kayleigh of course needed a way to carry her "baby" around while she plays. Just like "Mommy have!"

First Smiles

Casen has been smiling for a couple of weeks now. It has been SO MUCH fun! It just melts my heart when he looks at me and grins. His sister was so serious, it is fun to have a little guy that babbles and flirts.

I Have the BEST JOB EVER!

A Day Well Spent

Sure, there is laundry piled up waiting to be washed.
Sure, there are dust bunnies hiding under the furniture.
Sure, Casen's room looks like a bomb went off in it.
Sure, there are dishes to wash, errands to run, meals to be cooked, letters to be learned, internet to be piddled on, and a dog that is constantly growling at his empty bowl.
Sometimes all of that does not matter, because I am SURE that she loved her castle that we spent hours building together (complete with a tunnel and secret room) and I am SURE that all of that "other stuff" can be done when she goes to bed.... or when she is 18. For now, I am SURE having fun with her.

Da Boys

Chapstick

It all started with a simple tube of pink princess chapstick that was tied to a Christmas present. Sadly, her Princess chapstick got lost at my parents house. We heard about it every 5 minutes for a week from her until THANKFULLY my mom found it! It has now become an outright obsession. The Bear must have her chapstick on her at all times. She has different names for each one, such as "PINK chapstick". She puts more on every couple of minutes and offers it to who ever is around (sanitary, huh?). She loves to stash them in her pocket and sometimes she sneaks them out of the house. Last Sunday "DADDY Chapstick" made its way to the church nursery where a "little girl broke it." I could really tell you about a hundred more adventures that we have had with chapstick the last couple of months, but I think you get the picture.
