Half a year?

6 Months Already?
Little Bubba, you have gotten to be so much fun lately. You laugh at just about anything. You sit up by your self and inch all over the floor to get to the things you want. You love your sister more than anything, and she feels the exact same about you. You have gotten to be a little "porker" weighing in at 17 and a half pounds. You are in the 50th percentile for height and weight. You have FINALLY started sleeping through the night. We call you Little Bubba, Caseter, or Case. You have also started taking bottles of formula. I am so thankful for the consistent 11 hours of sleep you have been giving me. You have noticed recently that we have a dog and you grab at him every chance you get. I enjoy you so much more than you will ever know. You light up my day. You are a good baby, but you do have your "moments." You are a gift from God. Please stop growing up .... please?

Second Baby....

Oh second baby, we are not convinced that you are going to break as easily as we thought your sister would.... obviously.

Catching up!

The Bear played dress up with Bubba and Daddy. Sorry Guys!

Daddy and Kayleigh getting ready to go jogging. Kayleigh thinks she needs to stretch to sit in the stroller.

We have had several bunny nests in the back yard. I begged and begged, but Sean wouldn't let me keep one as a pet.

Na Na giving Casen his dinner.

Kayleigh eating up the attention Matty and Amanda were giving her. They are having a tea party.

Kayleigh Bear painting a masterpiece.

Stickers!

Kayleigh "decorated" Bubba while I was making lunch the other day. I love how when she torments him he just looks at her and smiles, it melts my heart. The best part was the next day there was a Snow White sticker in his dirty diaper. Now we have a strict rule, no stickers on Casen.

Thoughts from A Year at Home

It has been an entire year that I have been at home with my kiddos this week. I have learned so much and have eaten so many of my own words. Here is what I have learned so far:
- That there could not possibly be a more rewarding job.
- There also could not be a more exhausting job.
- I don't get to watch Regis and Kelly everyday like I thought stay at home moms did.
- I have been amazed at how selfless I have become.
- I can't believe the messes that can be made in just a few hours at home.
- I have come to love watching Dr. Phil while I pick up during nap time.
- I can't remember the last time I went to the bathroom alone.
- I look forward to reading books, swinging, playing with toys, feeding babies, praying before naps, not missing milestones, cooking in the afternoons, and loving my babies all day long.
- The grocery store is SO much nicer at 10AM.
- That many days I am not sure I would make it through without Kristy, Jennifer, Brooke Kelly, and Emily. Thank you all so much for letting me jump in to your little playgroup!
