LOVE my feet!

Fallin'

A couple of nights ago, Sean went to check on Kayleigh before he went to bed and found her like this. Instead of waking her, we just left her on the ground. We figured she would wake up and get back in bed herself. Well, I checked on her when I got up to feed the baby and she had inched pretty much under the bed. The next morning when she woke up she walked in our room and told us, "..... uhhhh I falled out of the bed, or somesing!" So adorable.

Yes.....

You ARE cute.... we know.

Easter!

Yes, I am behind. I know.

Easter week was a little crazy this year. We had an Easter egg hunt at Mother's Day Out, at Baylor with Mimi, at the Boyd's farm with our friends, and at church. Kayeligh was a real pro by the end of it! Sadly, my mommy brain forgot to take a picture of the kids on Easter morning in their cute clothes. Maybe I will fake it later.

Refusing to hold her basket at the Baylor egg hunt.

Caleb, Price, Selah, Aiden, K-Bear, Gianna, Caleb, and Abbie at the Boyd's farm.

Umm... you are running by all the eggs, K-Bear!

Good News / Bad News

Good News: She was being very sweet and reading to Casen in his bed.
Bad News: She used her stool to climb in while I was in the bathroom.

Mommy's Little Helper

She was so proud that she helped feed baby Casen "milky."

Da Bear

Goof Ball

Pretty Girl

First Picnic

Of course we do it once, and now she asks every day.... rain or shine. She thought it was so much fun eating outside and waving at all of the cars that drove by.

4 Months Old!

Casen is already four months old!
He weighs 14.1 (25th percentile) pounds and is (50th percentile) inches long.
He is rolling from his tummy to his back. His favorite pastimes include pulling his paci out, watching his sister, flirting with girls, licking arms, screaming, swinging, cuddling with momma. He hates tummy time, being cold, sleeping through the night, and when no one is talking to or playing with HIM. He usually wakes up at 1:30 am, 3:30 am (every now and then he forgets about this one), and 5:30 am. He is wearing his momma out, but she is still crazy about him.

Weekend at Mimi's

While Sean enjoyed watching the Baylor men make their way to the Elite 8, the kids and I enjoyed a weekend in Huntsville. We had so much fun playing with the toys at Mimi's house, looking at pictures, watching The Frog Princess, going to see the ducks, getting attacked by geese, eating a fried stuffed avocado, hanging out with Kenny and Charlotte, bugging Muffin, shopping in Conroe, going to Petsmart, and generally just enjoying a full weekend together. Thanks for having us, Mimi!

Classy...

This reminded me of the People of Walmart. Pretty sure that I have seen this SAME outfit there once or twice...

My Baby

The Bear looks and sounds so much like a "big girl," but every now and then I still see my baby showing through. I know I have said it a gazillion times, but I REALLY wish time would just SLOW DOWN!

Best Spot in the House

Casen LOVES his bouncer. He can watch Cosmo walk around, Kayleigh Bear drag out toys, and me walk behind her picking them up. He hasn't really figured out the bouncing part yet.... well, except when his "sweet" sister decides to help him bounce when I am not looking.

Snow Day!

Yes, I am very behind on blogging....

We had a BIG snow day here in Waco this year. We had so much fun playing in it and enjoying Daddy being at home for the day. At first, the Bear wasn't too sure about it.... but after watching the neighborhood kids play, she wanted to jump right in.

1...2...3...

JUMP!

She jumps off the sidewalk, curb, and couch.
She jumps like a frog and a bunny.
She jumps on the bed (even though she knows not to.)
She jumps when she dances.
She jumps all. the. time!

The Boys

All but one of Kayleigh's little friends are boys. It is always funny when they come over to play at our house because all we have are baby dolls, dress up shoes, and art supplies. Amazingly the usually seem to find something to play with.

2 Month Stats

2 Months Old

My littlest is already 2 months old today! We don't go to the doctor until Tuesday, so you will have to wait on his stats. Right now he is holding his head up pretty well. He usually sleeps from about 10 until 5 or 6 AM, which has been VERY nice. He still loves his pacifier, swing, and sister. He babbles (sometimes loudly) and makes the cutest little flirty smiles. We still swaddle him because he loves it and he will probably be in our room at night for a couple more months. We love him DEARLY and are so very, very thankful for him.

Casen's First Tea Party

I think he thoroughly enjoyed it, do you?

Buddies

Price and Kayleigh play so well together, I love to watch them interact. Here they are doodling on Kayleigh's chalkboard table, so sweet. She loves him even though he still doesn't like it when she tries to give him a hug. I am so glad that they like each other.... for now.

Three in the Bed....

Three in the bed and the little one said... YOU GUYS ARE KEEPING ME AWAKE!

"Like Mommy Have!"

Kayleigh of course needed a way to carry her "baby" around while she plays. Just like "Mommy have!"

First Smiles

Casen has been smiling for a couple of weeks now. It has been SO MUCH fun! It just melts my heart when he looks at me and grins. His sister was so serious, it is fun to have a little guy that babbles and flirts.

A Day Well Spent

Sure, there is laundry piled up waiting to be washed.
Sure, there are dust bunnies hiding under the furniture.
Sure, Casen's room looks like a bomb went off in it.
Sure, there are dishes to wash, errands to run, meals to be cooked, letters to be learned, internet to be piddled on, and a dog that is constantly growling at his empty bowl.
Sometimes all of that does not matter, because I am SURE that she loved her castle that we spent hours building together (complete with a tunnel and secret room) and I am SURE that all of that "other stuff" can be done when she goes to bed.... or when she is 18. For now, I am SURE having fun with her.
