My Little Fish

Kayleigh started swimming lessons this year. I was amazed at how well she did and how much she learned. She can now "monkey crawl" all the way around the pool, go under water, and swim in the deep end with just a noodle!

Half a year?

6 Months Already?
Little Bubba, you have gotten to be so much fun lately. You laugh at just about anything. You sit up by your self and inch all over the floor to get to the things you want. You love your sister more than anything, and she feels the exact same about you. You have gotten to be a little "porker" weighing in at 17 and a half pounds. You are in the 50th percentile for height and weight. You have FINALLY started sleeping through the night. We call you Little Bubba, Caseter, or Case. You have also started taking bottles of formula. I am so thankful for the consistent 11 hours of sleep you have been giving me. You have noticed recently that we have a dog and you grab at him every chance you get. I enjoy you so much more than you will ever know. You light up my day. You are a good baby, but you do have your "moments." You are a gift from God. Please stop growing up .... please?

Catching up!

The Bear played dress up with Bubba and Daddy. Sorry Guys!

Daddy and Kayleigh getting ready to go jogging. Kayleigh thinks she needs to stretch to sit in the stroller.

We have had several bunny nests in the back yard. I begged and begged, but Sean wouldn't let me keep one as a pet.

Na Na giving Casen his dinner.

Kayleigh eating up the attention Matty and Amanda were giving her. They are having a tea party.

Stickers!

Kayleigh "decorated" Bubba while I was making lunch the other day. I love how when she torments him he just looks at her and smiles, it melts my heart. The best part was the next day there was a Snow White sticker in his dirty diaper. Now we have a strict rule, no stickers on Casen.

Thoughts from A Year at Home

It has been an entire year that I have been at home with my kiddos this week. I have learned so much and have eaten so many of my own words. Here is what I have learned so far:
- That there could not possibly be a more rewarding job.
- There also could not be a more exhausting job.
- I don't get to watch Regis and Kelly everyday like I thought stay at home moms did.
- I have been amazed at how selfless I have become.
- I can't believe the messes that can be made in just a few hours at home.
- I have come to love watching Dr. Phil while I pick up during nap time.
- I can't remember the last time I went to the bathroom alone.
- I look forward to reading books, swinging, playing with toys, feeding babies, praying before naps, not missing milestones, cooking in the afternoons, and loving my babies all day long.
- The grocery store is SO much nicer at 10AM.
- That many days I am not sure I would make it through without Kristy, Jennifer, Brooke Kelly, and Emily. Thank you all so much for letting me jump in to your little playgroup!

Rainbows!

The Bear has been very interested in rainbows lately. Interestingly, we have seen several in the last few months. Now she looks for one every time it rains.

First Food

Bubba got his first taste of food. We fed him cereal and he was pretty neutral about it... even though he finished all of it!

The Girls

Of the kids we play with most of the time, these two are the ONLY girls. They adore each other so much. We love "Gi-ya-ya!"

Swingin'

I
We have been outside enjoying the weather for the last few weeks. I am SO VERY thankful that the previous owners left us their swingset. We spend about an hour out there each day just enjoying the weather, running around, and swinging.

LOVE my feet!

Fallin'

A couple of nights ago, Sean went to check on Kayleigh before he went to bed and found her like this. Instead of waking her, we just left her on the ground. We figured she would wake up and get back in bed herself. Well, I checked on her when I got up to feed the baby and she had inched pretty much under the bed. The next morning when she woke up she walked in our room and told us, "..... uhhhh I falled out of the bed, or somesing!" So adorable.

Yes.....

You ARE cute.... we know.

Easter!

Yes, I am behind. I know.

Easter week was a little crazy this year. We had an Easter egg hunt at Mother's Day Out, at Baylor with Mimi, at the Boyd's farm with our friends, and at church. Kayeligh was a real pro by the end of it! Sadly, my mommy brain forgot to take a picture of the kids on Easter morning in their cute clothes. Maybe I will fake it later.

Refusing to hold her basket at the Baylor egg hunt.

Umm... you are running by all the eggs, K-Bear!
