I found this sprouting up in the back yard. Does any one know what type of flower it is? Is it a tulip? Do you think there is anything I need to do to "take care" of it?I am really good at killing plants.
I had a birthday this weekend. It was the best one that I have had in years! Usually, I have to spend it at work.... but this year I spent it at the happiest place on Earth (no, not Disney) ... WACO! My mom, Kayleigh and I met Jen and Glenn, Lee, Kristy and Price, and Molly at Bush's for a birthday lunch. Afterwards, we went to the playground to let the kiddos run themselves crazy (pictures tomorrow). The night of we went to La Fiesta and had a girl's only slumber party at the Boyd's house. I loved getting to see my family and friends on my actual birthday!
And are you wondering what Sean gave me? Exactly what I asked for.... and let me tell you this is the BEST toothbrush EVER!

Well, we had a long day. Sean was at church all day (with his phone off), so I had the Bear alone. We ran a few errands and came home. When we got home, I ran the dogs outback to go potty. I usually take the Bear, but this time I left her inside (yeah, you can see where this is going.) Don't call CPS, I could see her up against the sliding glass door the whole time. Well, she picked up the stick that we keep in the track so no one can break in and she put it back in the track..... locking herself in the house. My heart dropped. I jumped over the fence (haven't done that in 15 years) and ran next door. After the neighbors and I tried to get her to pick it up, we had to resort to calling the fire department. An hour and a half after she put the stick in, I had the Bear in my arms. Don't worry, she wasn't too upset. She found her bowl of Goldfish and ate them while she watched the firefighters. I feel like a horrible, awful, no good, very bad mom. I cried, hugged her, and then made sure I got a quick picture for the blog.

My mom seriously makes the best cinnamon rolls ever. I only get them once a year at Christmas. Long story short, I had my wisdom teeth out 2 days before Christmas and so I couldn't eat my share, so I hid a pan of them. Sounds like I have been around this guy too long!

I don't know why we continue to buy this child toys, all she plays with are shoes. I thought these looked funny! She is very talented, she can put them right side up and step into them. She does not need any help! Then she walks around the house. I will have to get a picture of her wearing Sean's boots, they make me giggle everytime.

I was at the mall at 8:30 this morning so that I could stand in line for 30 minutes to get us a ticket to come back and see Santa tonight so that she could sit on Santa's lap for all of 2 seconds and scream.
The night we got married, we celebrated with an ice cream cone at McDonalds. The ladies behind the counter got such a kick out of us strolling in that that gave us our comes free. It must have been devine intervention that they even had ice cream that night because usually they are "out"(aka cleaning the machine so they can go home early) past 9:00 pm.
Celebrating our third anniversary at Burger House with the Bear in tow.
On Saturday, we had plans to go to the Gaylord Texan with Jen and Kenn to see the decorations and Santa. After waiting for an hour to get to the parking garage, we all decided that we had enough. We settled for pizza and a nice drive around Deerfield in Plano. My favorite was the house (pictured above) that was broadcasting their own music on the radio and had their lights synced to the music. It was like something out of a movie! It was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!
Kayleigh loved the lights! Even though it was late she stayed up and watched all of the lights. Every once in a while she would point to something and babble about it.

When I put out my nativity the other day, I wanted to show Kayleigh Baby Jesus. She was too busy running around an throwing this as usual. So, I picked up Cosmo and told Cosmo about Baby Jesus. Being the jealous sister that she is, she immediately ran over so that he wouldn't get my attention. I showed Kayleigh Jesus and I told her a little bit about him. She even gave him a kiss (she is SO into babies right now). Fast forward to last night: We were in the living room and she started to get up on her tiptoes to see and the said "Baby Jesus." I promise! She did, just ask Sean.
